Unfortunately several big, multi-day equestrian events like the Hortobágy Equestrian Days have been cancelled in Hungary, but fortunately there are still a few events for almost every weekend in the summer. However, before you take a visit, everyone should make sure if the program will be held!
11-12. July 2020. Kaposvár - Regionális díjugrató verseny (Regional show jumping competition)
There will be a 2-day show jumping competition organized by the Pannon Equestrian Academy of the University of Kaposvár, which can be attended free of charge.
Location: 7400 Kaposvár, Guba Sándor street 40.
18. July 2020. Jászkiskér - X. JÁSZKISÉRI HAGYOMÁNYŐRZŐ LOVASNAP (traditional equestrian day)
Anyone looking for an all-day program with beer tents, shows, sled-painting etc. this can be the perfect family program.
Location: 5137 Jászkisér, Fő road 69.

2. August 2020. Hajdúszoboszló - Kösely kupa lovasverseny (Kösely cup equestrian race)
Again, a quality horse race, which will be accompanied by shows and fairs. Also free to visit!

16. August 2020. Gyenesdiás - Festetics Vágta Gyenesdiás (FESTETICS HORSE RACING)
It is one of the forerunners of the National Race, which is complemented by a number of other programs. Based on previous years, we can expect hussar, agility, knightly and other demonstrations related to horse and equestrian culture.

19-20. August 2020. Tamási - Tamási Lovas Napok, PANNON DÍJUGRATÓ TOUR DÖNTŐ (Tamási Equestrian Days, PANNON JUMPING TOUR FINAL)
20th of August national day festive and equestrian programs close to the Balaton lake.
Location: Tamási race track
21-22-23. August 2020. Bugac - Kurultaj Magyar Törzsi Gyűlés 2020. (Kurultaj Hungarian Tribal Assembly 2020.)
A grandiose 3-day program that is not exclusively, but strongly horse-centered, as it is a cultural and traditional celebration of the ancient hungarian and other related steppe-nomadic nations. Click here to watch the video.
